This file is a HOWTO for Ethereal developers. It describes how to start coding
a Ethereal protocol dissector and the use some of the important functions and
is needed only if you are using the "snprintf()" function.

In ethereal a conversation is defined as a series of data packet between two
address:port combinations. A conversation is not sensitive to the direction of
associate data with a given conversation.
